LVSS is conducting research and evaluation of National Girls Elementary Education Programme and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools for quality improvement of the programme. This is being done as a part of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Godda.

Vermi-Compost Production Training

Farmers in all blocks of the district Godda are being provided training to produce vermi-compost. The organisation is also producing vermi-compost at Parsoti village in Podaiyahat block and the compost is benefitting the farmers. The farmers are taken on educational tour so they can learn by seeing best practices of agriculture.

Total Sanitation Campaign

A training on Total Sanitation Campaign was organised for Cluster Coordinators, Panchayat Coordinators and Village Motivators. Nearly 45 people participated in the training.

Toilet Construction

Low cost toilets are being constructed in Boarijor block of Godda district with support from District Water and Sanitation Mission, Godda. So far 4,700 toilets have been constructed.

Health Camp

A health camp was organised at Deaf and Dumb Residential School-cum-Resource Centre, Parsoti on the occasion of World Health Day. Experienced doctors examined 396 people and gave away medicines to the needy people.

AIDS Awareness Camp

The organisation held camps in all blocks of the district and gave information to the people about AIDS and prevention from it. Villagers in large numbers participated in the camps.

Prototype Scheme

Under this fruit and timber saplings are being planted all over the district.
